There are other ways to help too:
Fundraise: Fundraising comes in many forms including collections, sponsored events, marathon runs, coffee mornings, Christmas card sales etc. For ideas to suit your energy level click here to download our free ideas pack.
Make a regular donation: Standing order forms are available for regular donations, click here to download. One-off donations are also gratefully received, and another way of helping is to leave a legacy. We can reclaim tax on your donation if you can sign the Gift Aid Declaration.
Volunteer and spread the word: We welcome volunteers to help us with a whole range of things like joining in at events, putting up posters, or helping with our magazine, or website. We also need people to tell their story to raise awareness of environmental illness in the media. If you'd like to help us in any way, just get in touch.
What will we spend the money on?
We help people with MCS, their families and health practitioners by providing information and support to facilitate recovery. We are working towards getting MCS recognised as a chronic, physical illness in the UK to improve support and treatment for sufferers. Every penny helps us with our running costs, for example £3 pays for 2 hospital helpsheets to be printed. £25 will print a large poster to raise awareness of MCS. More than £100 will enable us to start working towards projects including Guidelines for GPs, a telephone information service, and improving access to safer accomodation for people affected by environmental illness.
